Here's the lowdown: A gigantic meteor enters Earth's orbit and begins to disintegrate, raining space debris across the globe. Los Angeles is destined to be destroyed within three days, leaving one man in a race against time to find his wife and son before it is too late. As well as our usual Monday medley of ‘A Town Called Eureka’ (6pm), ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ (7pm) and ‘Warehouse 13’ (8pm), we’ve got Terry Gilliam’s sci-fi classic ‘Twelve Monkeys’ at 9pm, starring Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Madeleine Stowe and Christopher Plummer.
 
If you’ve not seen this film before, you’re in for a treat!
 
Here’s a little teaser to whet your appetite:
 
A time traveller from 2035 journeys back to the 1990s to discover the cause of a deadly disease that ravaged the world, only to be thrown into an asylum. He meets a fellow patient who may hold the key to his mission, but the more time he spends in the past, the more he comes to question whether he really is from the future or simply delusional.

Back to talking about sci-fi not about shoe marketing...Im really excited about the new Giorgio Moroder release of Metropolis! Its being restored with a full soundtrack with artists like Freddie Mercury , Adam Antand Pat Benatar. Thanks to YEKRA its available for all those in the UK for the first time! I'll be watching the stream as it comes out on July 16 at metropolismovie.co.uk.
