Amanda Tapping - Better in Sanctuary or Stargate?
I only saw one ep of Sanctuary before moving house and getting stuck with no cable, so it's a bit unfair of me to answer this. But I'm going to anyway. I didn't really think that much of Sanctuary and AT didn't exactly shine. Her English accent was awful and she played it far too serious for me. I think she was much better in Stargate. But maybe that's partly because she had such good chemistry with RDA.
Definitely looks better blonde.
My vote goes to Sanctuary
I've just watched a further 4 webisodes and I can't quite come to terms with her very strange old English accent. I really know what you mean Idoru. I don't think it suits her, it's like when they got Maria Bello to play Evy in the new Mummy film rather than Rachel Weisz. Some people can just do the accent and other just shouldn't.
I'm not saying I don't enjoy Sanctuary because of this, but it's one niggle I have about it.
My vote is going for Stargate as her character seemed more believable, however I like the brunette look better.

If not it's possible that a mod could add a poll, but if that's a no go you could start a whole new "poll" topic. (Not normally considered "good form", but I don't think anyone will mind).
It may then be possible for a mod to merge the 2 topics.
Much prefer her in Sanctuary.

I've only just added the poll, you're quicker than me! I think we voting completely opposite too, how random. I think Amanda Tapping's brunette look is more natural.
Has anybody noticed that amanda tapping is speaking with a "scottish"accent and not with a bad english accent,
maybe the surname "magnus" gives it away....
i was and still am a huge fan of both the stargates series, but is still very happy that most of the actors from both those series have joined the "sanctuary" set.
my fave has got to be "todd" the wraith from the atlantis season......
the show is slowly growing on me, so keep up the good work.....hurray for sky hd...
I'm getting a bit addicted to the Sanctuary series, it's one of those shows that you watch, then go online and watch one webisode, then an hour later you've watched them all. Love the fact they're only about 15 mins long, so it's easy to digest.
I have got all of Stargate SG1 on DVD and watched her in them all, such a big fan and yet i like her better in Sanctuary and as much as i love her with that tough look with the short blonde hair i can't help but think she looks beautiful with that long brown hair :) Know its totally random but Robin Dunne is gorgeous hehe sorry had to be said xxx

I enjoyed Stargate-SG1 certainly and while I own the SG1 on DVD, I rather liked having her center stage as running the network.
A beautiful actress whatever her hair colour. I do think though that being a few yaears older that tthe brunnee ihair colour s more flattering.

I'd say "adequate" in both, but I prefer her brunette.
