First time on these forums so excuse me if this has been asked before, although I can not find any reference when searching.

I know that the Dead Zone has finished but I have not seen the last series - have I missed it?

Hi MRSshelley - I don't think 'Dead Zone' every ended... (I think they cancelled it so we never found out what happened..?)

It's a pity that this show had to be cancelled. I really liked it.

I suppose the ratings dropped in the US so we have to suffer!

I loved it!  Loved the original with Christopher Walken as well.

Its a shame but it seems like every series we've seen on Sci-Fy gets cancelled half way through?  Don't understand it?  -  It seems a totally pointless exercise to gee everyone up months ahead with advertising all these new series, and then bin them?   I've watched so many that I, as the veiwing public have regarded as brilliant, yet have no idea how they end !  Thats why I can't understand why the *viewing figures* are not good?? ......  (Well,   I'm watching them !! ) - maybe its not the 'viewing figures' at all, but some political or cash excuse  ?

Think they should  make it Channel policy to only buy series that are complete and then be obligated to show the whole thing to its conclusion!

Otherwise, there's just no point for the Channel to shell out all that dosh for us to watch "new" stuff  so they can stop it after season One or Two ? They might as well just pay for us to watch cult (like we used to) or anime... at least we'll see the endings of those !

To be fair to the channel, when they bought TDZ it was doing VERY well. Unfortunately it lost the plot and viewers later on in its run. (I don't think I even bothered with the last season).

As for other shows, it's down to money and even when the channel lucks out (like with Heroes) there's always someone with a bigger wallet...
