Exclusive - Horror web series to start on Syfy.co.uk
Buried Alive is a 15 part Horror web-series that is receiving its UK premiere exclusively on Syfy.co.uk. New episodes will be published on Syfy.co.uk every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm. Starts on Monday 17th May.
Filmed in handheld, docu style, the series pays tribute to everything from Saw to Cloverfield. 5 friends are kidbapped by a masked nutter with a crowbar and are thrown into individual coffins, which each hold their own delights, and a clue to the identity of the kidnapper.
Thankfully there is one person that hasn't been buried alive - Melanie. Melanie and her brother Travis (well someone has to hold the camera) embark on a dangerous quest to unravel the mystery and find out where their friends are buried before it's too late, and hopefully unmask the kidnapper along the way.
We'll be running a load blogs, reviews, discussions and competitions throughout the month. We'll be listing the Top Ten Phobias and the Top Ten Film Twists and asking you to tell us your own.
I'll also be asking you guys to tell me who you think the kidnapper is as the series progresses.
We have a bundle of horror DVDs to giveaway, so look out for Buried Alive competition.

Pete, can't get any of the videos on this site to run? (I can see video stuff on my Virgin homepage ok though ?)
I couldn't get them to run in Firefox - had to use IETab.
Gotcha - managed to see them all tonight! (Thanks!) - they are not very long are they ! - under 9 minutes! - I think that is quite a brilliant concept but otherwise not impressed as hate 'horror' (never seen that stupid film (Blair Witch?)with those kids running around screaming in dark woods with a camcorder?)
Intriging though! ... so far I think its either Travis (the bro), Rick who is just fooling everyone by being one of the victims.. or Melanie (the Sis)...
(How do I know? - well Travis is creepy and knows how to use a camcorder! On the other hand, I looked at the kidnappers exposed wrist and it kinda looks like RICKS! except his eyebrow through the mask looks more like a girls so it could be Melanies
sooo... well?... I think its the terrible bro and sister twins (Travis and Melanie) one to do the deed the other to hold the camera... plus Melanie has not called the cops yet...

That eye and 'eyebrow' I saw through the mask that one of them was wearing (poss in ep 3? when all the stuff was being constructed) - deffo looks line MELANIE's !

er... it could be Wylie? ... just noticed that she has the same sort of eye-brows!
She never said anything about being taken out of the 'box' shes in and who took her except that she had something stuck in her leg! !!! ... Rick had better tidy away all those live wires because Wylie's water is gonna come through and....
Bet that naughty Melanie and her naughty bro is not really talking to the internet - they're just talking to the mirror!
Pete, please don't take the Buired Alive vids off the homepage yet as I can't get them to work from 12 onwards (except managed No. 13 though...)

Unfortunately I didn't pay attention - thought this was another 'I saw what you did' movie - didn't realise it was a whole new series!... Being a 'series' it looks Great! - will have to go catch the re-runs and watch the whole thing...!
