Friday is the large day

GameStop announced that on Friday, Nov 4, it will start marketing its Android tablets, although the cost is unclear and whether the Android Tablets will have Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich is unclear. It could be expected that these Android Tablets will be competitively priced. TechCrunch explains that they will be good competition. A remote control will be offered separately, likely as a movie-viewing and music-streaming aid.

Pre-installed games on the GameStop tablet will contain such titles as Madden NFL and DeadSpace.

Stopping iPad from ruling

Before Android can challenge the iPad that Apple has put out, it has a long ways to go. However, Google is hopeful that the new generation of Android tablets will gain ground. In order to make money, PC corporations are putting in a ton of cash, meaning there is plenty of hardware support.

A brand new kind of console

There are several advantages to the selection, according to GameStop President Tony Bartel who spoke to the blog PaidContent.org after the GameStop Android tablet had been criticized.

“We’re excited at the prospect of coming out with this tablet,” he said. “I would call it a ‘GameStop certified gaming platform.’ We looked at all the tablets, and these are the ones that really worked for gaming, and we’re going to give you a few benefits that you’re not going to get elsewhere.”

Bartel made it clear that the GameStop Android tablet can stream PC and console games. The tablet also has dedicated controllers. The iPad isn’t the only thing that will be beat by the GameStop tablet. Tech pundits such as Matt Peckham at Time believe that the tablet will take over the gaming industry also.

The tablet is going to be released soon
