Jamie Oliver and David Beckham are the UKs Superheroes

Posted by Syfy.co.uk

With the premiere of The Cape kicking off tonight we ran a survey to find out who the nations very own superheroes and supervillains are. 2,000 people were asked who they thought were the UKs best and worst role models. The results go to show that you if you use your position to do good for society then you too can become a superhero, with Jamie Oliver and David Beckham weighing in first and second. If that doesn’t sound like you and your looking for a quick fix just wear a dress made of rotting bacon like Lady Gaga and you can also be a top role model apparently.

Top of the or worst role models were Amy Winehouse and Ryan Giggs. The Manchester United footballer probably would’ve made the best role models list this time last year. It just goes to show that every superhero has a dark side.

See above for a cool artists impression of our superheroes and see below for a full rundown of the two lists.

The Cape starts tonight at 8pm on Syfy. See a sneak peek here.
