TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering the competition “MCM Expo Twitter competition” (“Competition”), you acknowledge and agree that you accept the following terms and conditions relating to the Competition:    

1. PROMOTER: The promoter of the Competition is Sci Fi Channel Europe LLC of Oxford House, 76 Oxford Street, London W1D 1BS (“Promoter” and for the purposes of these terms and conditions "Promoter" shall be deemed to include the Promoter's affiliates, successors, assignees and licensees).    
 
2. ELIGIBILITY: (a) AGE Entrants must be aged 18 or over. (b) RESIDENCE Entrants must be legally resident in the United Kingdom. (c) EMPLOYEES Employees or agents of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.    

3. DATES: The Competition will run on 29 and 30 October 2011.    

4. ENTRY: The Promoter will at various points on 29 and 30 October 2011 tweet questions or challenges on its Twitter feed @SyfyUK. The Promoter will at the same time tweet its location at the MCM Expo at Excel, London (“Expo”) and to be in with a chance to win a prize, entrants will be required to locate the Promoter at the Expo.
5. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be selected in accordance with the relevant tweet.    

6. PRIZES: Winners will be awarded a prize to be determined at the Promoter’s discretion. The prizes are non transferable. No cash alternative is available for the prizes.     

7. WINNER’S DATA: The Promoter reserves the right to publish and to disclose to third parties the first name, surname and county of residence of the prize winners. The first name, surname and county of residence of the prize winners can be obtained by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to the Marketing Team, Sci Fi Europe LLC, Prospect House, 80-110 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1HB, stating for which competition you would like winners’ details.    
8. PERSONAL DATA: All personal information collected about entrants to the Competition by way of their entering the Competition will only be used in accordance with the Promoter's current privacy policy contained on the Website and for the following purposes: to administer the Competition as set out in these terms and conditions, to select the prize winners and to arrange delivery of the prizes.    

9. PROMOTER’S LIABILITY: As far as is permitted by law, the Promoter excludes responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the Competition and/or prizes beyond the Promoter’s control and for any act or default of any third party supplier. The receipt by the prize winners of any prize is conditional upon the prize winners complying with any and all applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines including, without limitation, these terms and conditions and competition instructions.    

10. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.    

11. JURISDICTION: The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law.
