Queen Fria (Kendall Cross) has begun trading ice with the Cantons, so Ming (John Ralston) sends troops to Frigia to take possession of the ice fields.  Ming consults the Celetrophs only to discover that Rankol (Jonathan Walker) is one of them, and for this deception he orders Rankol's execution.
