Emmy Award winner Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Buffy in the second to last season of Buffy!

Show Guide

About the Show

Emmy Award winner Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Buffy, a quick-witted heroine whose duty as the sole vampire slayer of her generation is to protect the world from the undead, yet who pines to be normal.

After the unexpected death of their mother last season, Buffy and Dawn now face the daunting task of going on with their lives without her emotional or financial support. Additionally, Willow continues to experiment with the boundaries of her magic; Xander and Anya test the marriage waters; and Buffy and Spike further explore their tumultuous relationship. And last but surely not least, the Buffy gang will expose their vocal talent in a musical episode featuring all-original music written by Joss Whedon.

To complicate slaying matters, Buffy only recently discovered that her 15-year-old sister, Dawn, is the key to that portal and is therefore vulnerable to all things evil. Buffy fights that evil with the support of best friends Willow and Xander; her very own surly English vampire, Spike; and Anya, Xander’s 1,120-year-old former-demon girlfriend.

During his seventh year in the food and beverage industry, Brendon decided to give acting another try. Soon after, he landed the role of Xander in the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and hung up his apron for good.
